| Ryan Johnston joined Magellan Strategies in August of 2008 and oversees all modeling and micro-targeting projects. He designed our custom donor models and is the architect of our national donor database. Ryan has extensive experience integrating and performing analysis on voter file databases, election return databases, and census and consumer databases. Prior to working for Magellan Strategies, Ryan worked for the Armstrong for Congress campaign managing databases and campaign staff.
He began his professional career in 2005 working for Integrated Energy Solutions (IES), an energy management firm based in Ft. Collins, Colorado. In that position Ryan worked with University of Denver to reduce their energy costs. During his three year tenure with IES, Ryan helped the University save over $1 million in energy related costs. During his time at IES, Ryan was accepted to the Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver to attain a graduate degree. He is currently studying International Security with a focus on intelligence, foreign policy, and South Asia. Ryan’s education began at Seward County Community College where he received two Associates degrees, one in mathematics and one in general studies. He graduated in 2004, Summa Cum Laude, with Academic All American honors while playing 3 years of varsity athletics. With the help of a Presidential Transfer Scholarship, he finished his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado at Denver where he earned a Bachelors degree in Economics. |
